In the hearth of Javorniky
The LKJ Tourist Chalet - Zlín is located in the Javorníky mountain range. This range stretches in a northeast-southwest direction along the border of Moravia and Slovakia. The area is part of the Kysuce Protected Landscape Area, which protects fir-beech forests of a primeval nature. In good weather, you can enjoy beautiful views of the Beskydy Mountains, Vsetín Hills, Strážov Hills, and Velká Fatra. The landscape also features elements of traditional Wallachian architecture.
The center is located on Slovak territory below the main ridge of the Javorníky mountains at an altitude of 967 meters above sea level and serves as a mountain tourist resort. The chalet is designed to accommodate groups of up to 55 people. On the ground floor, there is a ski storage room, a changing room, men's and women's restrooms, and washrooms for men and women. Additionally, there is a common room for approximately 50 people, equipped with a television, and free Wi-Fi is available throughout the chalet.
